Stud Services

​Are you looking for a stud for your female that is coming into season. We have several males available for stud. If interested in any please feel free to contact us. Before contacting us about using one of our studs please read over our stud contract posted below. 
     ​We do not allow contact between our males and outside females, which means no live ties. This is to prevent the spread of communicable diseases such as CHV and brucellosis which have no symptoms before or after being contracted and these silent diseases are know to cause infertility and death in puppies.

​This Agreement is entered into this ______ day of _____________________ 20____ by and
between ________________________________, hereinafter collectively referred to as the
Stud Owner, And __________________________________, hereinafter referred to as the Dam Owner, for the purposes herein set forth:
 
                                                                    SECTION 1
                                    Identification and Ownership of Stud and Dam
 
1.1 This Agreement is in reference to a breeding between a male
French Bulldog , known as _________________________________ ("Stud") who is registered
with American Kennel Club ("AKC") in the name of
__________________________________________________;
And a female French Bulldog, known as ________________________________ ("Dam") who
is registered with AKC in the name of _______________________________________________
as AKC# ______________________________.
 
                                                                    SECTION 2
                                     Stud Owner's Representation and Warranties
 
2.2 Stud Owner represents that the Stud has been examined by our veterinarian and has been found to be in good health.
2.3 The Stud Owner guarantees that live, motile semen will be collected, and evaluated.
 
                                                                    SECTION 3
                                    Dam Owner's Representations and Warranties

3.1 Dam Owner will notify Holler's Inn at the first sign their female is entering into her heat cycle.
3.2 For the health and safety of our males we do not allow natural ties. 
3.3 Dam Owner represents that the Dam has been examined by a veterinarian has been
found to be in good health and has had progesterone testing done on _____________________, prior to stud services. 
3.4 Dam Owner is hereby attaching a true and accurate copy of the Stud Service.
3.5 Any health problems with any puppies at birth or within the Health Guarantee time period (if applicable) must be reported to the Stud Owner.
3.6 Dam Owner agrees no puppies resulting from this breeding will be sold, given, or in any manner transferred to or by an commercial or wholesale establishment, pet store, puppy mill, animal welfare group, nor will any puppies be offered as a prize in a raffle or contest nor will they be used for purposes of vivisection (animal experimentations).
 
                                                                    SECTION 4
                                                Compensation/Additional Expenses
 
4.1 The Stud Owner is in no way responsible for the veterinary costs for the Dam's potential litter of puppies or for the Dam before, during, or after pregnancy.
4.2 If semen is to be shipped, the Dam Owner is responsible for the cost of the packaging and shipping. Payment must be received prior to the collection and shipping of the Semen.
4.3 As compensation for the Stud service, the Dam Owner agrees to pay the Stud Owner
$____________ cash prior to collection and shipping of semen. Unless, otherwise agreed upon. (See section 5)
4.4 If the semen arrives and is deemed not usable by a licensed veterinarian because of the count, motility and/or morphology, additional collections can be taken, analyzed, and shipped by the Stud Owner's veterinarian professional as soon as possible. Collection and analysis will be at the cost of the Stud Owner and shipping cost will be the responsibility of the Dam Owner.
 
                                                                    SECTION 5
                                                      Stud Service/Litter Policies

5.1 A litter is defined by two (2) live puppies at the same time of birth.
5.2 In the event that the Dam does not survive the delivery procedure and there is only one (1) living puppy, the Stud Owner agrees to sign registration papers, and forfeit his or her rights to their pick of puppy, due to such a loss. AFTER conformation from the Vet itself that the said Dam did indeed pass, and only one puppy is living.
5.3 In the event that the negotiated compensation is a "First Pick of the Litter Agreement", and there is only two (2) living puppies (mother living), then the Dam Owner may choose to pay half of the stud fee vs a puppy back.
5.4 If the Dam Owner chooses to not do the Stud fee. Then the Dam Owner agrees to, if there is more than two (2) live puppies born in the litter that the Stud Owner gets "First Pick of the Litter". Then the Stud Owner is allowed adequate amount of time to choose their puppy of their choice from the said litter.
5.5 In the event that the Dam Owner fails to raise the litter (2 or more pups), the Stud Owner is not responsible for a re-breed.
5.6 If for any reason the dam is to die or become sick/injured and un-breedable prior to stud services taking place, or during pregnancy this breeding MAY BE transferred to another approved female owned by the Dam Owner.
5.7 The Stud Owner is in no way responsible for the health of the Dam or a health guarantee for puppies produced in the resulting litter. Any health guarantees provided to new purchasers will be negotiated and accepted between the purchasers and the Dam Owner.
 
                                                                    SECTION 6
                                                        Scope and Amendments

6.1 This Agreement and its Attachments embody the entire agreement between the parties hereto, and supersedes any and all other agreements between the parties in connection with the breeding of the Stud and Dam described herein. This Agreement may be amended, in whole or part, in writing at any time by the consent and signature of all parties hereto, provided that the written document states that the purpose of the said document is to amend this Agreement.
6.2 This Agreement is hereby entered into and wholly executed in the State of Kentucky and litigation arising from any possible breach of this Agreement shall be adjudicated in Knox County, Kentucky. All parties hereby submit themselves to the jurisdiction of said courts. Should any provisions of this agreement be held invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall not be affected.
 
                                                                    SECTION 7
                                                                   Acceptance
 
7.1 By signing below, the Dam Owner and Stud Owner affirm that they have read and understand the terms and conditions herein set forth and find them mutually agreeable and acceptable.
